Ann Hood
Ann Hood is an American novelist, short story writer, and memoirist born on December 9, 1956, in West Warwick, Rhode Island. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island in 1978 and an M.A. from New York University in 1984, worked as a TWA flight attendant, and published her debut novel 'Somewhere Off the Coast of Maine' in 1987, followed by numerous bestsellers, memoirs including one about the loss of her daughter, and works for young readers.[1][2][4]
