Anita McConnell
Dr. Anita McConnell (1936–2016) was a British historian of science specializing in the histories of earth sciences, scientific instrument-making, and scientific biography, authoring 17 books including 'Jesse Ramsden (1735–1800): London's Leading Scientific Instrument Maker.' Born to Italian parents in the catering trade, she entered academia after diverse jobs, notably contributing over 600 articles to the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography as Research Editor for business history, science, medicine, and art blocks.[1][2][3]
