Andy Straka

Andy Straka, born September 29, 1958, in Norwich, New York, is an American mystery writer known for his Frank Pavlicek series featuring a falconry enthusiast and former NYPD detective. Previously a medical equipment salesman and president of Trans World Imaging Corp., he transitioned to full-time writing with support from his wife, dermatologist Bonnie Foster. His debut novel 'A Witness Above' earned nominations for Anthony, Shamus, and Agatha Awards.
