Andrew Podnieks is a prolific Canadian sports author and hockey historian who has written over 100 books on ice hockey and its history, starting his publishing career in 1994.[1][2][4] Notable works include the bestselling Honoured Canadiens for the Montreal Canadiens' 100th anniversary, Players: The Ultimate A-Z Guide of Everyone Who Has Ever Played in the NHL, and The Complete Hockey Dictionary.[1] He has attended every Olympics since 2002 and most World Championships, collaborating with organizations like the IOC, IIHF, Hockey Hall of Fame, and NHL.[4][5]
