Andrew Gross
Howard Andrew Gross (1952–2025) was an American author of New York Times bestselling thriller novels, best known for his collaborations with James Patterson on five number one bestsellers including Judge & Jury and Lifeguard.[1][2] His solo works, such as The Blue Zone, Everything to Lose, and historical thrillers like Button Man and The One Man, often explored family bonds, betrayal, and emotional resonance leading to crimes and cover-ups.[1][3] Born in New York City, he held degrees from Middlebury College and Columbia University, and passed away from cancer on April 9, 2025.[1][5][6]
