Andrew Graham
Andrew Graham was a Hudson's Bay Company chief factor and naturalist, born in Scotland in the mid-1730s. He served at York Factory from 1753, later mastering Fort Severn from 1761 to 1774, and wrote detailed manuscript 'Observations on Hudson’s Bay' from 1767 onwards, establishing himself as a key figure in the company's expansion and an early naturalist who collected specimens for London. He died on 8 September 1815 in Prestonpans, Scotland.
