Andrea Long Chu

Andrea Long Chu is a Pulitzer Prize-winning essayist and book critic for New York magazine, awarded the 2023 Pulitzer Prize in Criticism for her work there.[1][2] She is the author of the nonfiction book Females, published in 2019 by Verso and a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in Transgender Nonfiction, with her writing appearing in publications such as n+1, The New York Times, and The New Yorker.[1][3] Born on November 8, 1992, she holds an M.A. in Comparative Literature from New York University and gained prominence with her 2018 essay 'On Liking Women' in n+1.[4][5]
