Anatole Lyovin

Anatole V. Lyovin is a retired Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa who specialized in linguistic classification, including genetic, typological, and sociolinguistic approaches. He is the author of 'An Introduction to the Languages of the World' (Oxford University Press, 1997) and co-authored 'A History of the Orthodox Church in Hawaii' with Amir A. Khisamutdinov. He has also served as a clergy member in the Orthodox Church in Hawaii.
