Ananda K Coomaraswamy
Ananda K. Coomaraswamy was a pioneering Sri Lankan art historian and philosopher who played a crucial role in introducing Indian art, culture, and the philosophy of perennialism to the Western world. Born in Colombo in 1877 to a Tamil father and English mother, he served as the curator of Indian art at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts until his death in 1947.
