Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse was a British singer-songwriter known for her distinctive contralto vocals and eclectic blend of soul, rhythm and blues, and jazz. She rose to fame with her critically acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning album Back to Black in 2006, but her career was marked by substance abuse and a highly publicized personal life. She died from alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011, in London at the age of 27[1][2].
