Amy Seidl

Amy L. Seidl is an ecologist, author, and educator serving as Co-Director of the Environmental Program and Senior Lecturer in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Vermont.[1][3] She earned a B.A. in Natural Science and Poetry from Hampshire College in 1988, an M.S. in Entomology from Colorado State University in 1994, and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Vermont in 2001.[1][2][3] Seidl has authored books on climate change including 'Early Spring: An Ecologist and Her Children Wake to a Warming World' (2009) and 'Finding Higher Ground: Adaptation in the Age of Warming' (2011), blending science, memoir, and adaptation strategies.[1][3][5]
