Amy S. Wharton

Amy S. Wharton is a Professor Emeritus and former Professor of Sociology at Washington State University, Vancouver, where she also served as Director of the College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on gender inequality, work, organizations, and work-family policies, and she has authored or edited several works on the sociology of work, including *Working in America* and *The Sociology of Work*.
