Amitav Ghosh
Amitav Ghosh is an Indian-born writer known for novels and nonfiction that explore colonialism, migration, identity, and climate change. Born in Calcutta and educated in Delhi, Oxford, and Alexandria, he is the author of works including The Shadow Lines, The Glass Palace, and The Ibis Trilogy, and he won India’s Jnanpith Award in 2018.
