Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (they/them), born April 16, 1984, in Silver Spring, Maryland, and raised in Concord, Massachusetts, is an American young adult author who published her debut vampire novel, In the Forests of the Night, at age 15. Known for series like Den of Shadows, Kiesha'ra, and later Mancer, they earned degrees in English and psychology, taught high school, and retired from traditional publishing. They married Mandi McCrensky in 2010.
