Amalendu Misra

Amalendu Misra is an Indian-born British political scientist and author, currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion at Lancaster University. His research focuses on civil wars, ethnicity, identity, and political violence, with notable works including 'Towards a Politics of Civilisation' and 'Identity, Culture and Consolidation'. He has also contributed to debates on multiculturalism and state-building.
