Alison Espach

Alison Espach is an American novelist and professor of English at Providence College in Rhode Island, known for her works including The Adults (2011), Notes on Your Sudden Disappearance (2022), and the New York Times bestselling The Wedding People (2024).[1][2] Born in Trumbull, Connecticut, she graduated from Providence College in 2007 with a BA in English and earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Washington University in St. Louis in 2009.[1][5] Her writing has received accolades such as New York Times Editor’s Choice and TODAY Show #ReadwithJenna Book Club pick.
