Alicia Klepeis

Alicia Z. Klepeis is a prolific children's book author who has written over 200 nonfiction and fiction books, primarily for young readers, covering topics from amazing animals and extreme environments to historical figures and science.[1][3][6] She began her career at the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C., worked as a middle school teacher, and now lives with her family in upstate New York.[3][5][7] Her popular titles include Gutsy Girls Go For Science: Astronauts, Go Wild!
