Alice Simpson

Alice Sherman Simpson is an accomplished visual artist and author known for her passion for dance, which inspires her artist books and novels. Daughter of vaudeville dance sensation Hal Sherman and mother of hip-hop producer Michael Simpson, she has taught drawing and design at institutions like FIT and the School of Visual Arts. Her debut novel Ballroom (2015) and The Winthrop Agreement (2023) were published by HarperCollins.
