Ali Ghalem

Ali Ghalem is an Algerian author, screenwriter, and film director born in 1943 in Constantine. He received education in a Quranic school and learned French years after immigrating to Paris in 1965. He is known for his novels and films exploring themes of immigration, women's rights, and cultural identity, including the acclaimed work 'Une femme pour mon fils' (A Woman for My Son).
