Alfred Price
Alfred Price FRHistS (1936 - January 29, 2017) was a British author specializing in aviation and military history, writing over 40 books and 200 magazine articles.[1][2] He served 15-16 years as an aircrew officer in the Royal Air Force, specializing in electronic warfare and air fighting tactics on Vulcan bombers, logging over 4,000 flying hours before retiring in 1974.[1][2] He earned a PhD in history from Loughborough University and was a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.[1][2]
