Alfred Music
Alfred Music is an American music publishing company founded in New York City's Tin Pan Alley in 1922 by Sam Manus, a violinist and importer of mood music for silent films, initially as Manus Music. In 1930, Manus acquired Alfred & Company, founded by Alfred Haase, and combined the names to form Alfred Music, which has since become a leader in music education with over 150,000 active titles. The company is headquartered in Van Nuys, California, with offices worldwide, publishing educational materials, sheet music, and works by artists like Bruce Springsteen and brands like Star Wars.
