Alfred Erskine Gathorne Hardy
Alfred Erskine Gathorne-Hardy (1845–1918) was a British Conservative politician, landowner, barrister, railway executive, and writer. He was the son of the 1st Earl of Cranbrook and is known for works such as The Salmon, along with writings on history and related subjects.
