Alf Bjornberg
Alf Karl Gustav Björnberg, born on July 27, 1953, in Umeå, Sweden, is a Swedish musicologist who earned his PhD from the University of Gothenburg in 1987 and later became Professor of Musicology there, now Professor Emeritus.[1][2][5] His research focuses on music analysis, the history of popular music, music and media, including Swedish popular music, Melodifestivalen, and Eurovision.[1][5] He has published extensively in national and international journals, anthologies, and popular science formats, co-editing works like 'Made in Sweden: Studies in Popular Music'.[1][2]
