Alexandra Stoddard
Alexandra Stoddard, born Alexandra Green Johns, is a bestselling author, interior designer, and philosopher of contemporary living who has published 28 books on happiness, beauty, and elegant living, including *Living a Beautiful Life* and *Choosing Happiness*.[1][2] She pioneered the Happiness Movement after establishing her own international design firm following studies in New York in 1959 and a career starting in 1961, inspiring millions through lectures and media appearances.[2][4] A resident of Stonington Village, Connecticut, she is the mother of two daughters, Alexandra and Brooke, and has four grandchildren.[1][2]
