Alexander Vindman

Alexander Semyon Vindman is a retired United States Army lieutenant colonel born in Soviet Ukraine to Jewish parents, who immigrated to the U.S. at age three and a half, growing up in Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach. He served as Director of European Affairs for the National Security Council until 2020, testified in Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry, earned a Purple Heart in Iraq, and is the author of the memoir 'Here, Right Matters.'[1][7][4]
