Alexander Tzonis was a Greek-born architect, architectural theorist, author, and educator known for integrating scientific and humanistic approaches to architectural theory, history, and design cognition. He co-introduced the concept of critical regionalism and published extensively on the classical canon, modern architectural thought, and creative design methods.
