Alexander Orakhelashvili

Alexander Orakhelashvili is a Professor of Law at the University of Birmingham specializing in public international law. He obtained his law degree from Tbilisi State University (1997), master's degree from Leiden University (2000), and PhD from Cambridge University (2005). He has published 11 books including 7 sole-authored monographs and authored the 8th and 9th editions of Akehurst's Modern Introduction to International Law, a leading UK international law textbook.
