Alexander C. Irvine
Alexander C. Irvine (born March 22, 1969) is an American author of science fiction, fantasy, and tie-in novels, often writing as Alex Irvine. He gained prominence with his award-winning debut novel A Scattering of Jades (2002), which won the Crawford Award, followed by works like One King, One Soldier (2004) and The Narrows (2005). Irvine holds a Ph.D. from the University of Denver and has worked as a professor, game writer, and comic book author.
