Alex Woolf

Alex Woolf is a prolific British author born in 1964, known for writing over 200 books of fiction and non-fiction primarily for children and young adults, covering topics from science fiction and time travel to history and science. His notable works include the Chronosphere trilogy, The Year I Lived Twice (which won a Reader’s Favorite Award in 2024), and Iron Sky steampunk series, with awards such as the Association for Science Education Book of the Year 2021. He grew up in a cult-like environment that sparked his storytelling and now lives in North London.
