Alex Faitelson

Alex Faitelson was a Lithuanian Jew who led a famous escape from the Ninth Fort in Kaunas in 1944 during the Holocaust.[3] He authored books such as 'The Truth and Nothing But the Truth: Jewish Resistance in Lithuania' (2006) and 'Heroism and Bravery in Lithuania 1941-45' (1997), drawing from his firsthand experiences of Jewish resistance against Nazi persecution.[1][2][4]
