Albert Neuberger

Albert Neuberger (1908–1996) was a distinguished British biochemist and professor of chemical pathology, renowned as a founder of modern glycoprotein research and for his seminal contributions to the metabolism of proteins and amino acids. Born in Hassfurt, Bavaria, he settled in England, where he held key positions at the University of London, Cambridge, and the National Institute for Medical Research, eventually becoming a fellow of the Royal Society and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
