Albert Gallatin Mackey (1807–1881) was an American physician, writer, and prominent Masonic scholar best known for his books and articles on Freemasonry, including major reference works on its history and philosophy. He also served as a Unionist delegate and president of South Carolina’s post-Civil War constitutional convention.
