Albert Gallatin Mackey
Albert Gallatin Mackey was an American medical doctor, author, and prominent Masonic scholar best known for his writings on Freemasonry, especially the Masonic Landmarks. He also served as a Unionist delegate and president of South Carolina’s post-Civil War constitutional convention and held federal office.
