Alan Ryan

Alan Peter Ryan (1943–2011) was an American horror author and editor, best known for his novels like Panther (1981) and The Kill (1982), as well as editing acclaimed anthologies such as Perpetual Light (1982) and Night Visions: In the Blood (1984). A Bronx native, he contributed to publications including The Washington Post and USA Today, and was nominated for the John W. Campbell Best New Writer Award. Ryan passed away from pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a legacy of atmospheric horror and fantasy works.
