Alan R. Bailey
Alan R. Bailey was a British physician who specialized in occupational medicine, obtaining his MRCP while training in junior hospital jobs in London before leaving the NHS in 1971 to pursue a career in occupational health advising. He worked initially with BUPA, later establishing his own medical advisory unit and serving as chief medical adviser to Standard Life and other major companies at home and abroad. The son of schoolmaster Henry Carlton Bailey and Doreen Mary Bailey, he was educated at Dean Close Cheltenham.
