Alan Marshall

Alan Marshall (1902–1984) was an Australian writer, storyteller, and humanist best known for his autobiographical novel I Can Jump Puddles, the first volume of a trilogy about his life with polio. He also wrote short stories, newspaper columns, and works drawing on Australian life and Indigenous stories, and was widely recognized for portraying resilience and everyday experience.
