Alan Bradley
Alan Bradley is a Canadian mystery writer born in 1938, best known for his New York Times bestselling Flavia de Luce series, which began with the acclaimed novel The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. After a long career in television broadcasting, he took early retirement to write full-time and has published numerous children's stories, newspaper columns, and screenplays.
