Alan Agresti
Alan Agresti is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Statistics at the University of Florida, where he served from 1972 until his retirement in 2010. He grew up in Syracuse, New York, attended the University of Rochester, and earned his PhD in 1972 under Stephen Stigler. His primary research interests are in categorical data analysis, and he has authored influential books on statistical methods.
