Alain Boublil
Alain Boublil is a French musical theatre lyricist and librettist, best known for his collaborations with composer Claude-Michel Schönberg on hit musicals including La Révolution Française (1973), Les Misérables (1980), Miss Saigon (1989), Martin Guerre (1996), The Pirate Queen (2006), and Marguerite (2008).[1][2] Born in Tunisia, he immigrated to Paris at age 18 and conceived the first French rock opera with Schönberg, later co-writing the screenplay for the Oscar-nominated film Les Misérables.[4][2]
