Agnes Grinstead Anderson

Agnes Grinstead Anderson (1909–1991), known as “Sissy,” was an American memoirist, poet, nature writer, and journal keeper best known for writing about her marriage to Mississippi artist Walter Anderson. Her memoir, "Approaching the Magic Hour: Memories of Walter Anderson," and related writings preserve both her own voice and a vivid portrait of life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
