Adrienne Clarke

Adrienne Elizabeth Clarke is an Australian botanist and plant geneticist known for her research in plant molecular biology and cell-cell recognition, especially in fertilization and fungal disease. She held senior academic and leadership roles at the University of Melbourne, served as chairman of CSIRO, and was Lieutenant Governor of Victoria and Chancellor of La Trobe University.
