Adrian Barnes

Adrian Barnes was a British-Canadian author and teacher born in Blackpool, England, who moved to Canada in 1969 and grew up in Vancouver. He earned an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and published his first novel, 'Nod,' in 2012, which was nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award. Barnes passed away on January 5, 2018, in Gibsons, British Columbia, due to an aggressive brain tumor.
