Adolph Jellinek
Adolf Jellinek (1821–1893) was a prominent Austrian rabbi, scholar, and preacher, widely regarded as the most influential Jewish preacher in Central Europe during the 19th century. Born in Drslavice, Moravia, he served as a preacher in Leipzig from 1845 to 1856 before becoming chief rabbi at Vienna's Leopoldstädter Tempel until his death, where he delivered innovative sermons, founded the Beit ha-Midrash Academy, and contributed groundbreaking scholarship on Midrash, Kabbalah, and Jewish mysticism.[1][2][3][4]
