Adam Nicolson
Adam Nicolson is an English author and former journalist born in 1957 who has written extensively about history, landscape, literature, and the sea.[1][3] He is the 5th Baron Carnock, though he does not use the title, and grew up at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent, the home of his grandparents Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson.[1][2] A New York Times bestselling author and Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, he has won major awards including the Somerset Maugham Award, the W. H. Heinemann Award, and the Ondaatje Prize.[3]
