Adam McOmber

Adam McOmber is an American author known for his queer speculative fiction, including novels such as The White Forest (Touchstone/Simon and Schuster), Jesus and John (Lethe), The Ghost Finders (JournalStone), and Hound of the Baskervilles (Lethe), as well as short story collections This New & Poisonous Air and My House Gathers Desires (BOA Editions).[1][2][3][6] A Chicago resident, he has taught creative writing and creative nonfiction at Columbia College Chicago, where he served as Assistant Director of Creative Nonfiction and associate editor of Hotel Amerika, and currently teaches in the MFA Writing Program at Vermont College of Fine Arts while editing the literary magazine Hunger Mountain.[1][2][5] His work has appeared in publications like Conjunctions, StoryQuarterly, and Third Coast, often exploring horror and mythological themes.[2][4]
