Adam Mars-Jones
Adam Mars-Jones is a British novelist and literary and film critic born on October 26, 1954, in London, England[1][2]. He gained critical attention with his 1981 short story collection Lantern Lecture, which won the Somerset Maugham Award in 1982, and is known for novels such as Pilcrow, Cedilla, and The Waters of Thirst[2][3][8]. He has served as a film critic for The Independent and The Times, and currently writes for the Times Literary Supplement while holding a position as research professor in creative writing at Goldsmiths, University of London[3][9].
