Ace Collins
Andrew Jefferson 'Ace' Collins, born in 1953, is a prolific American author with over 90 books in genres including historical fiction, suspense, biographies, children's books, and works on history, culture, and faith, having sold more than 2.5 million copies. A Christy Award winner for his 2014 novel *The Color of Justice*, he graduated from Baylor University in 1975 with a BA in English and journalism, began his career writing for magazines like *Texas Monthly* and *People*, and has created series such as *In the President’s Service* and *Lije Evans Mysteries*. Collins, who earned his nickname 'Ace' during college, is also known as a cultural expert on Christmas traditions.
