Abu Hamid Muhammad al-Ghazali

Abu Hamid Muhammad al-Ghazali (c. 1058–1111) was a Persian Sunni Muslim scholar, theologian, jurist, philosopher, and mystic from Tus in present-day Iran.[1][2] He is widely known for works such as *The Revival of the Religious Sciences*, which helped integrate Sufism into orthodox Islam and made him one of the most influential thinkers in Islamic history.[2][4]
