Abridged Robert Louis Stevenson

Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish novelist, essayist, poet, and travel writer born on November 13, 1850, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is best known for his adventure novels Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and the psychological horror story Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Stevenson died on December 3, 1894, at age 44 in Vailima, Samoa, possibly from a brain hemorrhage.
