Abdul Mannan Omar

Abdul Mannan Omar (1910-2006) was a prominent Islamic scholar and son of Maulana Nur-ud-Din, the first Head of the Ahmadiyya Movement. He was highly educated and authored numerous works including a dictionary and concordance to the Holy Quran, commentaries on Hadith books, and approximately 80 other religious texts. He represented the Lahori-Ahmadi community at the 1974 Pakistan National Assembly proceedings.
